Don't understand why only having fun with people you are attracted to is regarded as shallow. Good luck to the couple organising. They know what they want and don't want to compromise and why should they? It is their party after all.

Its not only ppl they are attracted to that they want but they also have to be 'intelligent, well groomed and be the sort of person that frequents only the best places in Scotland. No lads or ladettes'. In my opinion, this to me isnt just shallow but just a tad pretentious

and as pointed out I do hope they manage to find them.

good luck to you, hopefully you guys have a fabulous time. Albeit it the OP does indeed seem a little pretentious but it is all about wanting to have a great time and if this is what they are looking for then am sure there are numerous people on the site that will fulfil your requirements.
