Has anyone else noticed the who's nearby app is wrong . IE says they are within half a mile away, but when you click on Thier name it then says they are 10 to 15 miles away. Both can't be right or is it a glitch ?.

I’m guessing the “who’s nearby” is most accurate one as it will be straight from live location as you need to give it permission

It all depends if your on WiFi or 4g/5g if using my home WiFi on normal browsing it’s nearly bang on if using private or vpn it changes to anywhere 90% not near where I am . If I use phone data it’s nearly right but if I use a different browser setting it can be London . Then even if it’s nearly spot on people travelling past show up as within a mile then 5 mins later can be 10-15 miles away so obviously sight only tracks folk so many times an hour .
