Are we heading back to the Thatcher years ?

Feels like it to me the youngsters don't stand a hope in hell getting a good job all schemes now i see just like youth opportunity when I left school on a pittance of a wage I fear for anyone's offspring

It's not just the young tho'. I've been looking since October and am being told I am too qualified for most things. The country is a mess and the big lending bankers are still netting bonuses. We won't get back to a civilised world till we remove targets and bonuses for employees.

Everything goes in cycles....look at music...films...tv

Politics is just the same....remember the three day week when tv went off at 10am to save power...

Well that's coming back....just read what Alistair Buchanan CEO of OFGEM said on Tuesday about the state of the UK's power stations...he said from 2013 when coal fired power stations come out of service until 2020 when the new gas fired ones come on stream the UK is entering a period of massive electricity and gas price rises....and potential power shortages...periods of high demand when the grid cannot cope..

Frightening stuff....from someone at the very top of the power chain...

The kids should not be in a hurry to leave school....stay and get an education which will allow them to fully understand that Thatcher was the saviour of the uk at that time ....the education is needed to allow them to comprehend that.

Not even a frontal lobotomy would convince anyone that Thatcher was any sort of saviour.

2 no jobs when you gratuate

3 why work when its much much easier to sit on the Dole and get every benifit going plus getn your rent /council tax paid for?
