Any other vegans on Fab?

Would be interested to know.

Mrs likes an occasional sausage and the only meat Mr eats is pussy.

In the west.

I don't know if I could go vegan. My daughter and SiL have and swear by their diet.

Recently I have started eating more meat free meals, but more veggie than vegan, and I enjoy them.

I think it's a big committment to go vegan. Going out to eat isn't easy either. I always look to see how many vegan dishes are on a menu, there aren't very many if any at all.

Will never be.

Latest corporate driven trend jumping on peoples emotions and eco mentalism to pedal it. Human survival in huge swathes of the world requires livestock agriculture. Should only ever be and has always been a niche food choice, which is fine. Each to their own.

What huge swathes of the world? I'm not vegan or veggie but I'm struggling to think of areas where it would be impossible, perhaps in the Arctic but that is more hunting rather than rearing livestock.

So.....Random question but if you're vegan does that mean you have to spit rather than swallow?

the land of unicorns and fairytales

I wouldn’t be able to go vegan

I enjoy my house, my car, my electric, my gas central heating, my clothes and the fact I don’t have to grow all my own vegetables and live out a hut I’ve made from wood and never again walk on a pavement or talk on the phone or see a movie ever again

Swallowing is fine… you consent to everything that’s happening, and there’s no exploitation happening.

Mr is vegan and has been for years. Finds it pretty easy to be honest.
