Huge profile writing

A lot of people are writing huge profile descriptions and mentioning not looking for time waste people. Just wondering asking users to read the entire profile is a waste of time. If you cannot build a conversation to know people, please don’t use fab

Think for some people it’s not just take what you can get, some know what their looking for and the profiles could be for the readers benifit.

Catch 22, talk to them and don’t connect means your a time to waster, now written by a bio to help also means your a time waster.

Might as well put us down as time wasters then

We all like , on our profiles we state what we like and dislike ..if people don't read they then get passed when we decline as not looking for tue same .. so always good t9 read that way you can then message with what interests each other ... x

I guess it depends what you consider 'huge' - I've yet to come across anything that rivals War & Peace!

Personally I'd rather spend 5 minutes and have enough to go on to determine if it's even worthwhile chatting than an hour of message ping pong to only to establish we're looking for completely different things.

And if someine has a problem with that approach we're probably not going to get along anyway, so it's a win-win!

Instead keeping all the stuff in profiles. Just make your profile in short and sweet way by telling what you need in few lines. About us not ours autobiography. Is just what we need.. some of them will keep what subject need to written in their profile.. it will be like studying for an exam and finding the answer

Don’t read, don’t contact.

What would be the point in a very short profile that wouldn’t possibly fit everything that a person/ persons are looking for? You’re saying you don’t want to waste time reading profiles, which by the way is just lazy and will be seen as such, but then why would you be more eager to waste even longer exchanging emails only to realise on email 7 that you don’t fit what each other is looking for?

Looking at yours, literally I’m seeing that you would happily meet a 98 year old man and his 96 year old wife for a sexual meet. You’d gleefully fist his wifes anus as the old boy lights up his cigar, sits in his rocking chair to take photos of the action in their cottage because you cant accommodate. Would that be accurate? You see the issue now?

I don't mind a long profile. There's normally something in it that gives a clue about whether you'll have anything in common

Depends who you’re trying to attract. Women/couples tend to write longer profiles than single guys and they want to know a single guy has taken 30 seconds to read it.

Reading someone’s profile shows you actually have an interest. If I get a message from a single guy who tries to strike up a common interest based on what they’ve read I’ll talk to them. If I get a “hi” with a dick pic and their profile says “ask what you want to know” I know they’ve looked at my pictures and thought they’d chance it with no thought, it doesn’t set that person a part from majority of the other single guy profiles & messages so I’m not going to bother.

My profile contains all the important points. It's supposed to save people messaging me if they're not what I'm looking for, and vice versa.

If people don't bother to read it then message me and it's clear they're not what I'm looking for, they have no right to complain when their message is deleted.

This… we all like different things. If you don’t like long profiles don’t read or contact them. Some folk don’t like profiles that are silhouettes folk are still entitled to have them though.

I've never once seen a profile that took longer than a minute or two to read; if someone isn't willing to read that, then I'd echo others in seeing that as a major red flag.

Moreover, a time-waster is someone who pretends to be interested in potentially meeting someone, when they have little to no intention of actually doing so; their real goal is usually just to try and get pictures or have an arousing conversation (which is why the vast majority of the culprits are male).

Someone with even a massive profile is not a time-waster just because of this, and it's an outright lie to accuse them being one, just for that reason. Anyone is allowed to have whatever length of profile they like, and are allowed to have whatever preferences they have; no-one is entitled to demand how others should have their profile, least of all because some random guy out there can't be bothered to read a few sentences.

Personally, I like profiles which actually show a little personality, and more importantly, give important information to see if we're even basically compatible! There's little point corresponding if neither of us can accommodate and the other person doesn't like going to clubs, for example.

My profile, my prerogative, my choices, my desires, my criteria, my necromancy. My profile to do as I please.

Typically those who have the ability to read my profile are usually the ones who can hold a conversation better than most people can hold a cock. Those are the people who interest me and the ones who are interested in me.

Perfectly put!

Mine has been honed over many years on fab, far from a time waster as my veris show I not only meet regularly I’m active on the social side of the scene too.

Frankly your attitude shows I have it just right because if a longer better crafted profile bio puts you off? You’re definitely not for me.

I like someone who can hold a decent conversation that I don’t have to dumb down and who is interested in not only getting their needs met but in the other persons needs too.

Lazy, effortless types? Definitely not my style! You wouldn’t be able to keep up with me if that’s your style

Longer profiles give you more of an idea of the person, their preferences and between the lines their level on intellect.

If those things are important to you then longer profiles are useful.

Though on the flip side when we get a ‘How are yous’ message and the profile says ‘Will fill in later’ or ‘Looking to fuck’. Well it makes it less effort to reject.

Some profiles with lots of bio tells you about that person or couple etc... Sometimes specific stuff is put on and if you don't like, then it saves wasting peoples time as after reading you realise they are not your type.

I enjoy fun with couples but the dynamic is changeable with each couple with their own interests, so a good bio tells me what interests the couple.

I've had profile bio with one sentence woohoo but some with lots of bio but in reality my bio at any time never even scratches the surface of the person I am and chatting and meeting is definitely a better experience for us all.

I find some profiles funny and make me smile and sometimes I message them to say thanks that I enjoyed it even if I have no interest to meet.

Leave everyone to put what they want on their bio, nothing much or tons of bio. If boring we move on, if interesting we either have a laugh or contact them.

.
