Erectile dysfunction is one of those topics guys don’t really want to talk about openly but I wanted to make a post. We have all had an experience, at some point, of the wee man not wanting to work as he should and it’s soul destroying. Mine was a good while ago, pure nerves as she was banging (couldn’t resist the pun)

Seeing all these adverts for Hardon pills on telly now that they are no longer prescription only is annoying me. I have a friend, genuine friend, who done a really long cycle for charity and he couldn’t get it up afterwards. The cialis and viagra didn’t help. It turned out to be the damaged blood vessels in the area between his bumhole and balls (perineum) stopping the blood getting to the desired location.

Mind these pills only enlarge the blood vessels and encourage more blood to skoosh up your boaby. They don’t make you horny or aroused despite the usual preconceptions. But they can cause long term issues if used incorrectly,

The pills won’t work if the blood can’t get to your dick guys, so if it’s injury related like my chum, you need to rest. Also, if you worry about getting it up, the nerves and brain signals will stop the knob getting hard. Try looking at apps/ community sites such as Mojo and/ or speaking to the gp.

These pills will only get you hit with headaches, red flushes to the face, dehydration and many other side effects. If you do struggle with getting it up and your not waking up with a hardon, speak to your gp as it could be testosterone based. If your getting hard for wanking sessions on your own, but not with sexual partners it hints stronger towards what my issue was, a mental block or nerves in the moment. There isn’t much worse than a wee voice of doubt in your head when your trying to get your end away. That’s where community sites such as Mojo or psychology hell can be sought.

Yeah they went no prescription needed late last year fella. You can buy it in boots now, Asda too.

But if the issue is psychological or blood vessel damage, the pills won’t work nearly as well. The side effects are meant to be brutal too

Agree with you here, and a worthwhile topic to get started on. I've also suffered from phycological ED at times and like you said, the drugs have no effect if it's your mind that has a blocker on you, no matter how much your into who your meeting.

Used mojo for a few months last year and there's some great topics on there, even when you end your subscription you can still use some of the exercises and mediations that you went through in the program.

I do however think that the drugs can have their place, since if the issue isn't medical and the mental side is good, I have found that for long play sessions, the extra hardness and quick recovery can add to the fun.

Great advice. I think women can help or hinder the process too. If a guy has ED then I find other ways of making sure we both still have fun and I don’t make him feel bad about it.

It’s a vicious cycle if you can’t get hard. It is possible to have a lot of fun without penetration using fingers, tongue, toys, etc. Hopefully helping to build their confidence during a difficult time.

Medication for diabetes and high bp can contribute to testosterone levels dropping to the point that you suffer erectile dysfunction and loss of libido.

I take a cocktail of tablets and 3 of them warn of possible erectile probs.

Ah but the really big issue that guys are seeing now is coming off trt in the incorrect manner this absolutely fucking their bodies ability to then begin producing testosterone naturally.

You go into the gym and you can eyeball the ones on trt and the likes or oral anabolics easily, I’d bet 3-4/10 know how to come off correctly.

One of my closest friends’ husband, mid 30s, done this and has his gp giving him jabs every two weeks at the moment to kick start his own natural testosterone production. Scary! Don’t do the steroids!

Agreed, this is where communities such as Mojo are excellent, helps guys get past the mental side of performance inabilities.

The key issue is getting guys to speak about it, even to each other as when you struggle, it’s got to be the worst thing to face alone.

Pct if your on a full 12 week cycle yeah but doing trt is only small does so wont have the same effect as doing 1ml of test E twice a week. Trt you could possibly get from your doctor if your levels are low. Joe rogan does a got talk on it

That’s the problem, a lot of these young guys aren’t running that end cycle and it’s killing their natural T levels. It’s quite scary

Have you ever thought of the possibility that your body could build up a resistance? I don’t know if that does happen with these meds but obvs we do with painkillers, antibiotics etc

Have never ever bought from a chemist yet,been taking them for about 8 yrs now.Some have inflated prices not willing to pay what they offer.Been using a guy who sells on a few sites for a couple of years now and the generic pills and gels he has works a treat on me.can even get sildenafil fruit chewables and oral gels which are not available at the uk chemists."
Have used the fruit jellies in the past (Kamagra ) from memory,worked a treat, not sure if you can still get them,i do remember At the time, being advised that they were less harmful than Viagra, saying that, im not sure how qualified he was.

That’s a brilliant post detailing the effects of men’s ED.

Unfortunately, there are men out there who will use it for additional pleasure rather than what it is intended. My suggestion to anyone who requires it, speak to your GP. Too many men avoid it and seek random companies online.

When blood flow is dramatically increased, it pulls blood from your heart, we’ve all heard of the heart attack stories. It’s prescribed for a reason.

Abuse of the drug not only will it dabble with your sex life, you’ll be dabbling with your life.

Totally agree on the mental side of things. You can take a shit load of medication but it only amplifies what's already there and if there's no drive then it makes zero difference.

Another thing that effects it massively is AD medication. Went through a lot of struggles when on that and would have been easier to raise the titanic and once you get that into your head and get nervous it's goodnight.

The issue I'm having at the moment is my sex drive seems to be non-existent at times. I get times when it comes back, but I could be given it on a plate sometimes and I'm absolutely dead inside. Its 100% down to some mental health issues as I've had all my testosterone levels checked etc and it's all fine. It kinda makes me a bit cautious about arranging meets as I don't want to either not be into it or end up pulling out at last minute. Means I really needed to be upfront with people and get a comfort level before meeting.

I can relate directly to the drop off in sex drive at times, I work in a fairly stressful sector and that can at times see my sex drive just fall off the end of a cliff. Gemma Atkinson could be in the scud offering me bjs and kettle chips & it still wouldn’t stir the wee man, then other times I’m like a bitch on heat.

Makes also experience a sex drive libido much like a cycle. Our sex drive is at its highest in the morning and lowest at night…..most sexual meets & activities are a night so that isn’t the best of news if we then add in mental blocks or issues in getting blood there.

The mental side is the one we need to be open and speak about. The meds won’t work if there’s mental issues blocking, and as the chap says above, when taking blood away from the heart etc with the use of pills that are not needed is dangerous.

To lighten the mood, thank god my knobs tiny as it won’t be taking much blood away from the heart at all

Yeah I seem to be at the bottom of the cliff right now but im trying to do the right things to make it return.

Sleep effects my mood massively and I think in turn is also a major contributor.

I don't necessarily have any ED issues since coming of the ADs as I can make it happen when I want to, but the hardest thing is that a lot of the time I just don't want to.

Can't be arsed with anything, and sex is just one of those things.

I’m honestly no expert man, but I’d wonder if you are getting the blood in to get hard but not to the solid stage, it might be a mind over matter thing. It’s one that I’d think would be best dealt with by speaking to a professional rather than pay the costs, use pills, put up with the side effects and potentially still be at square 1. Mojo is a good app, but it’s pricey at £19.99 a month and that’s with the 50% off trick I’ve written above.

Costs and such like for the brands are mental, places (as mentioned) such as Dr Fox will do the generic cialis, viagra etc for about 80p a pill and in boxes of 4-6.

I remember Holland & Barratt advertising the horny goat and some sort of vein extract pills as erection aids, but never mentioning caffeine or zinc probably as they were less profitable.

I’m sure your spot on though, there’s a link between Brazil nuts and testosterone I’m sure!

Since reading this, I’ve eased off from the cycling from every day.

Purchased a really really good pair of padded shorts.

And got myself a packet of Cealis.

Emla cream ia called 'emla 5%' use a pea size amount on the tip of the penis. Rub around head of penis, leave for 20 minutes for it to work. Wash off before sex. If you don't last long enough, try alittle more next time. If it makes you struggle to get hard, have a viagra too.

Take the one a day cialis (Tadalafil). I think they come in 2.5 and 5mg. You might get a slight headache the first couple of days of taking it. Contrary to the thread title, you always need a prescription for ED pills if you are getting them legitimately. I've never seen a syringe so huge and full of antibiotics...

I was admitted to a ward, then isolated as I also tested positive for COVID too... And the syringes kept coming for 4 days every 4 hours day and night, and with morphene for the pain that had kicked in too....

We need this to clear up, then we can do the circumcision said the surgeon who was to be my saviour....

Let's face it, if it's a toe with gangrene they cut off the leg at the knee, or above the knee if it spreads.

What chance does a cock have of surviving this, if it did spread I was going to die and soon. But here I am telling the tail...

So the infection cleared up and it's now time for the polo neck to go...

Just a straight forward op said the surgeon.

Then the stitches started to burst, tearing apart one after the other...

Now I could feel it... I managed to relax and mention the bleeding to the nurse, she assured me its ok... And happens to a few guys when the anaesthetic wears off...

I get home and am told to let the bandage to fall off on it's own not to get it wet at all.

It does fall off and I can see the healing process is well underway, and now pain free. Except some sharp bits under the skin, desolvable stitches on the inside, yeah the mentioned these so it's ok...

Couple of weeks later I finally get the courage to get erect so we both assess the new wonderous trimmed version with no skin damage, just some fresh scars...
