Fake accounts

Has anyone noticed an increase of fake accounts lately? Theirs no reason to not be atleast pic verified i think. I constantly get messages from unverified accounts that are obviously fake. Iv even had people ask to meet and give a wrong address or last minute have a had a couple saying its only the male half home when I'm minutes away after travelling thinking that I'd be OK with that. Has anyone else had experiences like this? It's frustrating to say the least

Think we've all had the only male half couple one many a times pal

Only came back on site few days back really after a break but browsing the who's online searches yeah does seem be a good few fake profiles around admins seem to be on there game though as they don't seem last long (besides the solo males couple profile of course)

Pic verified should be a basic . U dont get to use the site until u are.. its a huge safety issue aswel. But also the face pic should match any photos they put on their profile

Tbf I'm not pic verified. I genuinely don't think it proves anything and it's still resulted in fake profiles in the past.

But that's just my opinion, and I do get why folk do it x

Fab has always had its fake profiles but we have seen a lot more lately since we have been back on and not just women/couple profiles there is a lot more fake men profiles popping up. We had one that was made an hour ago sent a picture of “him” and demanded one in return. Um no thanks golden rule is minimum photo verified and as someone has said previously those that have met you will know you are genuine

I agree with above.

Fakes absolutely ruin this sight.I have had so many waste of times .

Not sure why I bother at times.

I think all similar sites suffer from fake accounts, some people have nothing better to do

Im not photo verified but all my verifications are displayed to show im genuine

fake profiles are one of the reasons I don’t show veries but happy to show one or two if the person I was chatting to and planning to meet wanted to see I had met lol

For most on here they know I hosted many socials & parties so know I’m real lol
