I don’t either and I get asked about it all the time, I’ve also walked away from meets when they have non smoker on the profile but are standing waiting for me….smoking.

My answer is always the same, why do some women only meet guys over 6ft, or only meet black guys, or only meet straight guys etc…because that’s what they prefer.

It’s literally that simple

If a profile says no single guys, I don’t wink. If you’re says no smokers, then common sense should prevail

I normally get I don’t smoke often etc I don’t meet smokers either I’ve never smoked the smell makes me want to be sick

You don’t need to explain your preference it’s your preference

Let’s just say I don’t find they taste nice …….

I'd have just deleted it. You don't owe anyone an explanation as to why you don't want to meet them.

I can't stand the smell of smoke so I wouldn't ever meet a smoker either, but I wouldn't feel like I had to explain my decision.

I’m a smoker and would never meet anyone who has won’t meet smokers on their profile.

My long term partner smokes it and I hate the smell but I’m a smoker too so I can’t really say much. We do vape while we’re at a meet so we don’t smell like ashtrays but we obviously ask if that’s ok beforehand which 9/10 they’re happy with this. Each to their own though.

And yet again I get messaged by a non smoker with a fag in his hand when he sends a pic. Pointed it out and he said it wasn’t a fag but a joint which he doesn’t do often and wouldn’t do around me. WTF is wrong with peoples brains

I quit smoking last year. Until then it never bothered me, but now I can smell and taste it. .regular tobacco smoke I'm not all that fussed about. But when someone stinks of .....sorry ew. It gives me the boak

Nope I hate it as well and have met men who have said non smoker then have turned up smelling and tasting of smoke. It’s extremely off putting. Met a guy who literally was out every few minutes having a cigarette. I hate the smell and the taste. If someone asks me, that’s exactly what I say.

I'm a smoker and vape when not smoking proper but I'd never ask someone such cheek as to why they don't wanna meet a smoker it's personal, I'd meet smokers and non smokers and respect that by not smoking on meet etc but that doesn't give me the right to ask non smokers to meet etc

Totally agree everyone has the right to meet who they want and nobody needs to justify their preferences.

But no need to say people smell .

Stick to your preferences yes but at the same time don’t have to our others down. Cost nothing to have a bit of tact and to be nice

If you smell like an ashtray (legal or spicy) or have rank teeth because of your addiction to sucking thin white cancer sticks, it's a hard pass from me.

But if you do smoke (not just smoke-a-bloke) or vape and make sure you're not gipping/brush your teeth/don't have yellow stains on your fingers from it then fire away. Just shows you take a bit of care and pride in yourself!

Maybe they do and like I said that’s up to them to

not engage in meeting with smokers.

But it’s still not nice to say someone personally smells you can have you’re choice not to meet them but you don’t have to be rude about it.
