So, someone sends you a Wink. You're interested so send a wee message to say hello and reference something in their profile etc.

They read the message and then...nothing.

Canny comprehend that one myself

I have had this with the same lack of response (in fact the last one the message was never read) But you just have to put your big boy pants on and move on. Single blokes are a massive majority here so the single ladies and couples have loads of messages and even more choices.

It is just not you.

As a couple we get winks from other couples.. we wink back to let them know of our interest or message them and hear nothing.

It's FAB.. you just move on although sometimes they reply months later.

It could have been that your message was shite, as brutal and crap as that sounds, maybe you tried too hard or warbled pish. We have all been guilty of it, I sure have.

perhaps the wink was accidental or maybe they didn’t like the context of your messages .

Or maybe they winked because they liked the look of your profile but weren’t looking to meet at that point .

I got winked a few weeks back by a couple, so I winked back and started chatting, They then proceeded to tell me everything that was wrong with me,and insult me ,im not reporting but have since blocked,still a bit pissed with that behaviour even now

I use them as a way of showing interest ,if I get a return one I'll drop a message to introduce myself if nothing ...hell that's fab, I'm learning to just leave the perogative to them if I've winked back in interest ,heh it's fab

I don’t have ‘couples’ as a preference just women and have had a couple of wink - wink sort of things and no messages from them and I couldn’t work out what it was all about

Happens a fair bit, if we wink and no-one replies, no problem, but if we receive a wink, we always wink back, then mostly nothing. A bit strange.

It is a bit annoying if a couple wink us, we return their wink then..nothing. It’s as if they want us to do all the running. I think if you wink someone, they wink back then it’s up to you to follow that up with a message?

We get it alot. We'll usually wink back and send a wee message saying tha k you for the wink lovelies. Latest one viewed us three times, winked, we sent the above. They then viewed another twice and then deleted and blocked must of been one shit come down they were on
