I would love to agree, but i think after last weeks performance, We (Scotland) are in for a shock again from the Italians. 10 points on thier side. We are rubbish at the moment, no heart in the team.

Fellow shaggers of Scotland , dont lose heart , just because those inbreds from over the border bribed the ref to gift them the game , we have the italians just where we want them

I don't think Scotland played badly last week, we just gave away way too many penalities and gifted points to England, You cannot expect to win games making so many errors, loose passes or throwing the ball away in scrums, line out worked reasonably well so with Hall now out injured Ford has to perform in the scrum and line out something he has sadly not been doing for Edinburgh this season or indeed Scotland for the past couple of years.

Italy are a much improved side, they held their nerve against France last week and are well organised and aware of what they need to do. Scotland need to cut out the silly basic handling errors and come out strong against Italy this afternoon, I think it's possible to come away with the win but we need to play as a team and unsettle Italy from the off.

Give it 20 mins of the 1st half and we will be in the game, then we will drop off, then give it 10 mins of the 2nd half and we will be all guns blazing as usual and then lost, no ideas and no direction.

This is all because of the structure of how players are told to play now and not given the freedom of their own choices and if you see the space, run through it, instead now, its passages of play and to get players into positions so you can attack, but if you dont turn the ball over quick enough or enough times, this plans fails as what happens with us, so lets go back to running, run with the ball, run straight and run hard, we scored last week from someone running and not kicking as the kick was the expected passage of play and when we didnt follow this, we flipping score, its a simple game, just we make it look hard!!

Just my view

I just think some of the players are not able to adapt with what's going on around them too, you can have all the game plan you like but if the other team change it about the players have to adapt.

It's like Scotland's restart, every one is almost identical so if they didn't win it first, second or third time why try its again and again, they need to cut the kicking the ball up the park nonsense too, keep ball in hand and as you say bloody run with it, I thought Hogg was a good example of what can be done with ball in hand last week and England at times were at a loss

now there is no pressure on us , we dont have to worry about the 6 nations championship nor the grandslam or the triple crown , oh and the calcutta cup we will play some devestating rugby. What we really need is a player like big bad old Bakkies Botha , somebody who can dish out the pain and terrify the opposition , going to put a tenner on a 10 point win

Today, we will be beat in the scrum, thats for sure. The Italians have an awesome scrumage and have been developing that for the last few seasons. We will loose out at the breakdown too as they are a bigger and stronger team, the only chances we have is thier mistakes and it they are not on form with kicking. The rest is in the lap of the gods.

What we should worry about is..... being bottom of the table this year, an it looks likes its going to happen.

No give me that tenner and i will save you from giving it away to a business and i can use it for a few beers, cheers

They did exactly what I said they needed to do !!!!!

Bloody fantastic result, well deserved and great effort by the entire team, now if we can play like that for all our games the results will come

In all honesty though, I'll be satisfied if they continue to play as they did yesterday, a one off is not proof, they need to consistently perform game after game now, then they can think about silverware

Fabulous game, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Best rugby I have seen them play for years, lots of consistent passing, great tries and a feast for the eyes too! Keep it up boys! (not in a Fab sense of course)
