We have this week off and looking to travel. Anyone got any experience about Peterhead? Is there stuff to do normally and also any kinky fun? Xx

There is absolutely fuck all to do in Peterhead, the only reason people go there is to visit friends in the jail. Seriously, it’s shit and cold.

You would be much better visiting the likes of Banchory or Stonehaven, look at Glen Dye as an option if budget allows. Braemar too.

You might end up in Peterhead after you've looked at hotel prices elsewhere.

It's mental!

There's another post from a guy looking for a room in Inverness tomorrow.

A normal room is £280 for one night and a bunk bed in a backpacker dorm is £92!

Yea that’s the reason thought Peterhead. £386 for 4 night getting a full apartment. Other places looking like £300 a night. And the weather isn’t looking great either. Don’t want to fork out £1K to spend the weekend in spoons. Lol.

Peterhead would be okay for a base.

Things to visit include;

The old prison museum,

Cruden Bay and Slain's Castle.

Pennan, Crovie, Gardenstown, Cullen, Portsoy and too many castles to mention.

As above its could be practically reasonable cost to base in. Other places not far away from here.

Just stayed over last weekend for two nights managed to get second night for 133 with breakfast and dinner (which was showing up as 270 for the night.
