Ok, so since size 16 is average for women, what size is average for a man? I think I asked before at some point but I fotget what folk said.

I'm guessing 36 waist, 42 chest? Honestly have no idea, I'm just curious.

I'd prob guess at 36 - 38 waist and a large on top - but that's just from ordering uniforms at work for the guys lol xx and a size 9 - 10 in boots

So I'm a 38 inch waist as 36 fits around my waist but not thighs(ex-rugby player) and I wear size 10 shoes and extra large tops to fit my 44 inch chest. Does that make me average? Lol

I dont know!! That's why I'm asking. What do you think Mrs fun? Apparently I'm below average then. It's a common thing for me :p

You asking me? I honestly don't know what the average size is for a guy. For me my personal preference is no skinny guys I'm 5'10 size 14 so don't want a guy thinner than me. I like something to cuddle.

Must be a bit of a weirdo then.. just under a 34 waist, but large on top (not round the middle before you start!) size 9 feet though...

Before I lost weight last year whenever I went shopping for male clothes I had trouble finding 38 inch waist trousers, they seemed to sell first which would suggest 38 is the most common size.

Now I'm down below a 36 I don't have the trouble. But as a previous poster said, anything lower than a 36 won't go over my thighs so I'm stuck there!

But for my girl clothes its size 16 (actually 14-16) but can't find anywhere that does those sizes! And trying to find size 10.5 slinky heels is a bitch

Definitely like a bit of meat on my men lol . However I'm not opposed to fit athletic guys either though ....to me its more about there personality than their size of waist chest and shoe size lol xx

Healthy eating helps. Scotland has some of the nicest food going, although as a nation heart disease is going down.

As for waist size well thats a 38 for comfort

Well I'm 5' 7", 10 stone 9 lbs, 32 waist, 38 chest and size 11 feet. So some parts average, some below and some above lol, bit of a mixture I guess.

As a young man I competed in regularly in fighting sports mainly boxing as my martial arts is not a sport

I was 6ft tall 38 chest 28 waist and weighed in a 10st.

Since retiring from the fight game I have gone up to a 44 chest and a 34 waist and I now weigh 12 stone 8lbs

Still keep myself fit but not 6 nights a week sometimes twice a day like I uses too

Feel I was too skinny and unhealthy looking back then

I'd say just above average due to the XL top but I'm no expert - I like something to cuddle into too

Average size will change depending on the age group you're looking at. For guys around my age, average is around a 38-40 inch chest with a 6 inch drop to the waist. Not too sure about shoe size but based on the people I see every day I'd say average height is around 5'9".

Adjust chest and waist size upwards and height slightly downwards with age.

I'm now a 32 waist,with a 44 chest,17.5 in the collar and size 10 in shoes,i'm only 5'6 though lol

5'8.

Went from a 36 waist too 32 in the last year. Don't know how that happened, not been trying.
