does anyone else think the chatrooms have went ballistic?? between the gaggle hunting directors in non directing rooms. or the insideous "stunning babes" crowd or the ever present pm me (add user name) not to mention the ever present "horny in (add area) hung and handsome hook me up for cam,meet,chat" other side of the coin is the people who accept and activly encourage this behaviour so question is am i just being a moany git or is this others experience too

I would agree kola , yes its gone nuts , the site used to be a great laugh , a lot of banter and fun , but of late the chatrooms are turning from being a fun place to being a cattle market , as a moderator it can be very difficult to sit back and let the chat flow when there is so many folks harassing one or two people for pms and cams , it does make it very frustrating for the chatters who want to chat .

However we have to realise that a lot of folks now just use the site to have a chug or to get their ego boosted on cam as the stunning brigade are happy to pander to in the hope of a flash or more.

Hang in there folks , maybe the chat and banter and fun will come back eventually the chatrooms would not be the same without the realistic people who know that they dont get a shag in five minutes by saying the cam ladies are stunning. Happy chatting to all

Totally agree although I'm not in any chat much theses days if I'm in new chat it's usually to private chat with one if my friends,there us very little chat and more stroking if egos in there

I totally agree think the chatroom has went totally down hill last few months, i remember when u could go into chat and ave great laugh and joke for hours n hours cant do that now because to many wankers and cheeky fookers .................... think maybe time to changeup the rooms. but thats just my opinion tho....

That's why I have stopped going in so much now as well, fed up of all the crap the blokes send out to 'anyone' who is on cam, and the one's on cam believing the hype they get, never mind being told to 'click on my cam' in case I get an eye full I do not want to get!

Hopefully it will return back to the way it once was (but I wont be holding my breath)

definitely not like it was in 2008, times moved on,but things have gone dowhill here, too many cam chuggers, and eejits- used to be a whole lot more fun, but there's too much back-biting and cliques here now- although have too say the majority of folks are well balanced good people, just the minority, spoil it for the majority

went in chat once last year after a night out and found it ok but it was the early hours of the morning and it was quiet apart from a few folk and us 2 so we where able to keep up with the banter. Previous to the new chat was the last time i went on regularly, so many profiles ago when i was the beach, shit too long ago and so many lost and wasted days

but so few admit they are looking for their ego to be stroked whilst pointing out that others that do, may be spoiling things.

it is what it is and ain't going to change. New folks come along and get more attention and some can't cope with that. Forum & Chat are very similar, change is good

Time is much needed for extra new Mods to be in room as only one scottish mod really comes in the scots room on a reg basis but there are plenty of wannabe mods thats in there and when they keep telling ppl what to do others retaliate, let the real mods do their job is what i say but one mod cant be there all the time when the room kicks off but thanks to the other mods when they do arrive they are most welcome . The room has gone downhill i have been here since one wk into this site being created and over the years its had its ups and downs but its at its worse just now where long standing regs are leaving.

yea you are missing the point for the rules of the site where the op has mentioned about ppl directing others on cam and not adhering to the rules and then it spoils it for others in chat and makes chat not a nice place to be chatting as all hell breaks loose as the wannabe directors sees the other sex on cam and wants to direct them in a non directing room perhaps you shud try chat one day

Yeah, I have tried it but you go in, everyone chats away, nobody responds as they dont know you and if you are on a sex site looking for sex then you quickly realise there's not much chance of meeting someone by that means. I guess lots of other guys have had the same experience.

I'm not sure what it's like with other 'directing' people and such like but if its that bad then they dont need to stay in the room? Or am I over simplifying it?? Ive been on Fab for about 5 years, not sure when it started but I'm sure I remember the same general points being brought up years ago.

its an anything site really am afraid.., fab just happens to be the best one(in my opinion)- some people barely even use the site for the swingery aspect and have been doing so for many years

As for the chatrooms?...well apart from normally finding them boring nowadays, I still like a chat laugh...and a wank if I feel like it, those that dont like it..well, im outwith ur radar for a meet..and possibly off mine..Ive accepted that...and just move on.

We, thats g and bessyboo used to use the chat room daily for some great banter. always felt welcome and part of a fun bunch.

But as some of our pals have noticed, we dont go in there any more. Full of idiots shouting please look at me or shag me.. people seem to have lost the art of fun banter! Shame as we both used to enjoy it.

For me - I think chat should be a safe place where no one feels threatened or under pressure. I also appreciated the old days where the "good guys" on fab supported you by telling the pushy ones about room etiquette.

In saying that everyone uses the site for what they want as is their right - hey ho I'm only here for the meringue :P

Gotta say that I rarely go into chat these days since the banter ain't what it used to be. Can't put my finger on it bit think since new chat came online, that was the slippery slope into the abyss.....

It has morphed from a swingers site to wankersRus and way too many just here for chugging fodder.
