"2 weeks in a caravan at Sandylands staring out the big windae and hoping the pishin rain would stop " we mostly had good summers back then but at other times of the year it would pour . I loved listening to the rain in the van . We used to go into the woods in the pouring rain and pick hazelnuts of the trees lol

"I've lived up here a few years and never been as not lived close enough. Now living in Glasgow, is this something worth going to? I would be by myself but that wouldn't bother me unless it's more family orientated??Been where ? You got the right post ? " I think he has. It's not a travelling fair. The fair was the annual 2 weeks summer holiday, when all the different industries shut down. Each area had a different 2 weeks but many of them over lapped. We used to go camping around Scotland, usually in the rain Then on 1 occasioned went to the south west of England and it rained there as well. The tent blew inside out because of the high winds. The fair down here finished at the weekend and those that still take it would have gone back to work this morning

I knew Glasgow shut down for the 2 weeks but always thought there was some big mad festival bit like Edinburgh having the Fringe. Will this be why my doctors are shut today for what it says is a public holiday?
