Why is Greggs not the place to meet potential partners

My point is , you always here about couples and how they met,in a pub or in the club yada yada , but does anyone actually meet in different locations.Have you been a single Pringle thats been down the butcher's for your mince ,and caught the glad eye of a potential partner.Or in Greggs and met your playmate after sharing a streak bake.Any unusual stories out there??

My friend met her soon to be husband in a Drs surgery lol

They got chatting while waiting to see the Dr ,she got called in and when she came out he asked her if she would like to go for a coffee one day which she accepted

With Glasgow having the highest amount of greggs (54) shops in the UK, with some having areas to sit in, it is entirely possible that this could be a public meeting place of choice now, as opposed to Costa/Starbucks?? Disclaimer there are other coffee shops and fast food outlets available ??

One night I was at a petrol station at 0200. Service was via the night hatch and I chatted to a woman as I queued up to buy a cold pie.

When we'd both been served, I asked her if I could use her microwave to heat up my pie........

I met hubby when we worked in a kitchen together. When he first came I thought he was a creep and there was something about him that I just didn't trust.

Months later we had a Christmas night out, I ended up back at his. The sex was amazing and a week later I asked him out.

Almost 26yrs later, turns out it was a good call x

Personally, no….. but was chatting to friends recently and they were telling me their story…….. he was an illiterate fly by night sheister ( he still cannot read it write)…. He was travelling and getting work wherever he could……. She is the daughter of another friend, a retired headmaster and the daughter is a university languages professor.

He lnoked on her door one day because he’d been told by her father she needed some gardening doing…… he’d just finished working on theirs….. she tells the story and says that the first words out of his mouth to her were “are you single?” …. 20 years later that are still happily married

I have friends who met at the bingo, both their with their grans who were part of the same little coven of oldies that regularly go. It’s actually one of those really cute and funny ‘how we met’ stories
