Do any hotels let a room for a day rather than a night? Just asking as am going to Edinburgh for a mid afternoon appointment but don't want to stay the night. Just get a room to shower and change in. If anybody knows?

Most hotels standard check in time is 200pm or so but some allow earlier - just ask.

When you check out is really up to you. But you'll be charged the full daily rate regardless.

Hotels will not bat an eyelid - they know people rent for daytime meets or business reason etc. They are not bothered providing nothing illegal goes on under their roof.

is the hotel room for more than a shower, if so my answer is useless, if it is a shower why would you pay £30 plus for just a shower??

"Whats that easy hotel like "

I have stayed in the Edinburgh one, but one in London near earls court was fine.

Clean comfortable and friendly. But no frills.

Cubical en suite.

Window extra.

Tv use extra.

For somewhere to sleep or have a meet, no problems.

What about a swimming pool or leisure centre - a few pounds to get in, and most of them have a private shower cubicle where you can shower without bothering with trunks.
