The socials ran at After Dark club in Edinburgh are brilliant. The two ladies that run them are lovely.They are always busy so lots of

People to speak to and get different views on it. I attend them all as a solo female and there is a good mix of solo males, females and couples to chat to and get to know with no pressure.hope that’s helpful

That may be a good idea then as she can see how she feels once having spoken to people.

There is no play at socials they are all simply socials where people get to know each other and sometimes they even kill the karaoke

Keep a lookout on the forums for them being advertised or look in the meets section

Looks like there is an Edinburgh social coming up this Saturday 20th May. I was petrified before my first club visit years ago but clubs themselves are just social events themselves but with the opportunity to take things further if you want x

Socials are good, you can just arrange them to meet at a local pub. I see you're in bathgate.... 1912 is good for a social. You can also go to an arranged formal mixed social like the ones at after dark, or you can go to a club with the only intention being having a social

We go to after dark most Wednesdays for mostly Socials x

We recently attended our first social/pre drinks and loved it !

We’d all been chatting in a group for the previous week as well so was good to meet everyone in person.

Social at a club would be a great idea as some people can be nervous that they’re overheard in public

Yea that’s why I like the After Dark ones the chat can be what ever you like, we play like adult games to get us talking and interacting, it’s a great laugh and I am really shy and go as a solo female.plus there is no oh do we go to the club now after or not as you are already there it just feels more natural to stay and see what it’s like free of pressure.
