strange profiles

well i have just had a look through the scottish meets and came across a profile which i thought was right up my street , so like a ferret down a rabbit hole i got down to writing out my message to see if i could charm this lady , low & behold i got a message bk saying i was right up her street so when sorting out arrangements like ( cam ) just to say hello nothing else as that is heating up in front off fire as i was told ( phone number to call ) lets u know if voice is who they say they r ,

but alas when i asked these questions reply came bk that i don't give any information like that over media that can be trapped , so was a wondering if anyone else has come across things like this on the site cheers ,

persons profile will remain annonymous as i would like to embarass the person

She is very wise , never give any personal info in messaging as you never know who can read your messages

I don't give any details out straight away on this so I wouldn't call it strange. After all that stuff with the papers a few month back ive even been extra careful and taken off pics

I think she was just being extra cautious and quite rightly so,I think you need to take your time in getting to know somone before giving out personal details,the more you chat to someone the more you get a feel for them and that feeling of whether they are genuin or not ..good luck xxxx

I'm exactly the same, I will not give out personal information unless I know I am interested in someone, especially given the press interest a few months ago!

Though if you were trying for a meet today, I do kind of understand where the OP is coming from.....

so if the person has put they want too meet tonight how do u get to find out where they stay , what they look like, or is it really the sex they say they r , very confused

unless I'm 100% sure I know who I'm talking to...I only accept a phonecall..might do a webcam..

having seen the spate of fake verifying going on in the site...I'm thinking of my safety..plus not looking like some twat for some idiots to laugh over

Even if they have listed on meet today they will still probably be expecting some messaging on here for a while, maybe even a chat on the chat room then if they feel its safe give out some details.

Just because they have there names on the meet today doesn't mean you just ask them for an email/phone number/address and think that's it lol

I'm not worried about people reading my messages, but I wouldn't give out personal information without chatting first. I would only give out my number to someone I'd been chatting to first

Yes you should keep the profile annonymous as its against the site rules to name and shame never mind embarassing someone . My advice would be to move on a find another profile thats up your street and whilst doing so remember people are within their rights to keep they personal information to themselves until a lot of chatting and trust building has been done. Happy swinging
