how about fab only allowing new profiles that are photo verifiedso as to stop the increasing amount of fakes on here.just an idea and would be interested in hearing other peoples opinion

no, am not confused I just find it laughable that someone on the site 4 months that is not photo verified, has a couple of meets and well done for that... now thinks others should be.

I have been on here about 5 yrs on and off. Not photo verified..but I dont need to be as . I know im gen. my friends know Im.gen.dont need to prove to some newbie thats only been on 4 months Im gen .so having photo proof means jack shit.

.lol..The people who go to socials.partys..meet face to face.all know whos gen.

So you havnt been photo verified.????. but expect other people you meet to be . to prove.there gen!!!.your having a laugh mate..!!!!.

I believe the OP has made some inadvisable comments but the gist of what he's saying is, would it be a good idea for photo verification to be necessary on fab. It isn't currently so he & others are not photo verified. BUT if it was mandatory, would that help to remove fakers?

I actually doubt it would. It's easy enough to take a photo of yourself, not so easy to talk to & meet other people.

photo verify can help some folk determine how they want to possibly meet, it proves they are who they say they are...at the time of when they take the pic.I could use an ex fab gf's photoverify as a single or couple, from years ago.Send some guy who is verified(in some manner)a msg to verify me as real(a current trend).Hey presto, Ive made a fake profile.

for those thinking photo verify is a desired option, I'd push for at least getting the date put on the pic

Some people don't want to PV and I think it is right to be able to have a choice. There are lots of genuine people on the site without a PV.

You can use the mail filters to stop any mails from non verified.

I had to shut down my old profile after an ex set up a fake profile here to try and find some dirt on me. She used pics off the net as her on site pics, so photo verification would have outed her immediately.
