I got a perm when I was 13 and it was awful

It was a hairdresser who had been recommended and came out to the house. all the way while it was on i kept saying this is burning my head - oh no she said it's just tingly - when she took it off my shoulder length hair was up to my ears and I had no skin left round my hair line and at various parts of my scalp as the dozy mare hadn't diluted the perming lotion

It was bloody awful and I refused to go to school for 2 days until my dad bribed me lol xx

Ha I had a dodgy perm at 13 aswell and funily enough she came to the house and done it it went from spiral to frizz bomb in a week thank heavens for bobbles x

Not exactly a cut but when I was growing mine long it went through a pretty silly looking stage in my teens.

Well, some people think it's a faux pas having it long now but sod them, I like it.

He had a Chris Waddle style perm at the back and straight on top and She had a perm so tight I couldn't get my fingers through it.

Oh don't get me started I had a bowl cut from about 3 til i was 9 or 10

My older sister had long hair but always used to cause a fuss getting it washed and brushed so my mum decided we were both getting bowl cuts. I remember crying and saying i didn't want a bowl cut I wanted to grow my hair long and she said it's not a bowl cut it's a paige boy at which I cried some more and said but I am not a boy
