Was thinking an afternoon/evening gathering in a pub or something else with similarly minimal planning.

Most people, including me, work during the week so it's not gonna be a mid-week thing.

Set a date and a place, and if we can we will come.

(it is impossible to meet the times and dates for everyone....so just set it out there. and everyone tries to come....or goes to the next one.)

Cool, keep posting those who are interested- the more who show an interest, the more motivation it is to organise something.

Anyway, I'm dying of the cold at the minute so it'll be the weekend before I give it any proper thought. All suggestions welcome in the meantime.

Hi, I hope everyone sees this before they head out. Had a lot of people say they can't make it because of the weather, and I'm inclined to agree. I'm on my phone so don't have time/battery to message everyone but I think we should postpone till next Friday. There's no way I can be there on time, nowhere near home from work yet.

PS Those who can get in to town feel free to go ahead and follow original plan, it's just impossible for me to get there in this weather!
