Hi peeps!

Just thinking to ourselves we'd like to try a social meet or club but never been to one and dont know what to expect.

We're a bit shy with the hardcore swinging scene but looking to explore - heard a few good things about certain places.

Any advice anyone could give would be much appreciated.

if uz r looking 2 go 2 a club u need 2 go very open minded as its not 4 every1 but if u get 2 know a few ppl who go 2 the clubs then it would b better as u will have some1 2 talk and show u around or meet them socialy then go 2 the club with them, pl u should talk 2 r tajandjay about affter8 & jandj about some fetish clubs in glasgow.

the 2 clubs that we go 2 r after8 in edin & the aberdeen clubhope this has helped u n u have a nice time when & where u go xxx

Hi there and welcome!

As well as the clubs then how about easing yourself into it by going to one of the social events?

These are held every few months and are organised by members of the site (nothing to do with Admin) and are held in a normal pub/club etc. Depending on the time of year and location the socials attract between 100 and 250 folk.

We noticed at the last one in Fife that Hornyhoops organised there were lots of new people there which is always good to see.

Of course, as its just a social and the venue is a vanilla one then there is no playing..... but who knows what happens once your back in your hotel room???

Just keep an eye out in this forum for news of any upcoming socials and post your interest in the thread and the organiser will be in touch. There is one in a couple of weeks but alas that was full quite a long time ago. There is a reserve list however, not sure how long that is at the moment.

You do what you want with who you want and at your own pace, no-one is ever expected to do anything that is outwith their own comfort zone, that goes for socials, clubs and individual meets. Everyone has been a newbie and understands boundaries and acceptable behaviour defined by each individual. Better a few social meets to get to know people and what makes each other 'tick' rather than rush into a disastrous 'swing' meet. Relax have fun and walk before you run.

As steve said, if you go to an organised social then it is purely that, a social event, of course if you wanted to continue to party in a hotel room i'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble finding people to join you.

If you decide to go to a club, then aside from any dress codes (usually common sense ones about looking presentable) you pretty much do what you feel comfortable with. The first time we went to a club never done anything but chat all night and i'm sure there wouldn't have been any objections if we had wanted to parade around in underwear (i hope

) - there arent naked people everywhere either, that was just an example.

Everything you do should be fun for everyone included, if it's not then you just dont do it.
