yep, I liked it so much I want to watch it again, even though it's nearly three hours long.

I liked the comedy bit with the hand-made bags.

It's because it's a screener mines got it as well but doesn't spoil film for all the time it's on screen ,some screeners have rolling numbers running through the film all the time

Problem I have always has with Tarantino like a lot of American directors of this genre is the film is usually based on a previous Oriental movie.

Typical Americans have bigger budgets so more bullets, buckets of blood etc etc and the actual storyline gets lost along the way.

Something a bit more simpler to see Chow Yun Fat die I'm a hail of bullets during City on Fire than Harvey Keitel or Michael Madson in Reservoir Dogs remake.

OK a quick Google of the film and read the synopsis and OMG the comparisons to previous movies is so abundantly clear.

DiCaprio's characters salves and their 'Mandingo' fighting is just one prime example.

Anyone from the 70's remember Wilbur Smiths books Mandingo and Drum that were turned into movies starring boxer Ken Norton as Mandingo.

That is just one example.

Where is the originality.

This smacks of a Spaghetti western with 'Roots' connotations thrown in.

That was exactly the genre he was aiming for.
