Can’t believe how many brilliant Radio 2 presenters have played their last in such a short time. Steve Wright gone, Chris Evans on Virgin and most of the rest including Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits radio. Can’t think of a reason why I’d listen to Radio 2 anymore!

In the west.

I gave up listening to R2 a while ago, probably when Simon Mayo left. Although I did try and listen to Ken Bruce when I could.

There’s honestly no reason to listen to R2 anymore with the exception of Sunday love songs

I flicked back and forward between Chris Evans, then ken Bruce and then back for Steve wright. Won't be listening again now not worth it. Too busy trying to get a new audience and forgetting about the one they have the BBC is finished be as well doing away with it they can't compete with commercial radio anymore

So...:

BBC is dying as it’s caught in between trying to be totally transparent and accountable and unbiased and delivering a service people want

I think the move towards encouraging diversity across all levels is great. I just wish the BBC didn’t kee shooting itself in the foot whilst doing so!

Ken Bruce to me is the best radio presenter in several generations. In the 90s I started listening to moyles but quickly moved to radio 2

I’m glad he’s left bbc because I think he’ll be better in a commercial station.

The bbc will eventually die out. The public and politicians always hound it for being impartial and complain about the big wages it’s top people earn.

Anyway rant over and I’m glad he’s still on radio but I have little respect for BBC after they cut his show short by two weeks. What the listenership fall!

I look forward to the listener numbers crashing, an absolute disgrace how they are treating the djs, not to mention R2 audience

The sooner the bbc is finished the better, they couldn't spell impartial!!!

I'm the opposite, I now listen to radio 2 as they've had a cull of the oldies.

Left listening radio many years ago and found 2 wasn't for me. I'm loving it now though.

JV the perfect vocal outlet for white, right wing mainly pensioner's to spout their rancid views...

Aye I'm bitter.

I tried radio2 years ago, found myself feeling older as the shows wore on.

Anyone want to invite me to a party noo....I'm as cheery as fook, promise.

Started listening to Greatest Hits Radio UK to see what it could be like

Pleasantly surprised to find ex Radio2 presenters on including Simon Mayo so when Ken Bruce joins them with Pop Master even better!

Yes and no;

I would tune into radio 2 at 10.30 for pop master.

I have given up totally on Jeremy vine as the man is simply a fool who says such silly and stupid things on air.

I listen to Radio Scotland each morning when driving as I like to listen to current debate on governmental issues and I listen to radio Scotland drive-time at 4pm

For music I tune into country (make me a winner) ????

Jeremy vine, the man who got his bbc wages paid into offshore account to save tax and made his 10 year yr old a director in his firm. Anyone who watches his c5 show needs their head examined
