I've heard others say 50-70% as non attendees, but 100% is just pathetic.

Why commit to something then just back out?

I know it might be a little offputting, but we've chatted in the chat room and I know you're nice, and that you like these sorta events.

If you try to plan one again, it may be best to arrange it well in advance, and only invite/allow folk to attend tht you've met in real life before hand.

Generally if you want 4 guys invite 8, as others have said there are a zillion fantasists on here who fancy the idea but when it comes to the crunch haven't got the cohonas to do it, you should be allowed to name and shame these clowns

I am so sorry to hear this. I'm thinking of plans for such an event and this is making me think I'm only going to involve people I know well!

I've dealt with my fair share of timewasters on fab before but 20:0 just takes the whole bakery!

Location doesn't help either. I organised a few in Glasgow, which were brilliant. Everyone turned up, or we just had 1 or 2 cancellations / no shows.

Had 2 gatherings in Edinburgh where some people turned up, but most didn't.

Twice I tried in the Borders. Total waste of time and they never actually happened.

Not sure why Glasgow seems to be the place to go for these events, but it totally is!

For all of them to leave you hanging is really not on though. Time wasting arseholes.

Wow that's shocking i would have definitely been there you look amazing. I've read so many status's on here from all you lovely ladies and I'm shocked at the amount of abuse you all get aswell as the amount of time wasters it's people like that that gives us genuine decent people a bad name or makes us need to work harder. Don't get me wrong i know my biggest downfall is the first message I'm hopeless with it hence why I'm looking forward to the summer social to meet some of you.

These events are the worst to organise. We delayed trying to do ours for months til finally bit bullet and done it recently.

I am shocked with you that no one showed as the drop outs are horrendous but 100%

No shows for GB's are pretty typical on here - particularly by "single" guys who aren't really single and probably the main reason they don't show. We went through this process for our GB's we now have a regular group of guys who we know, trust and most importantly, turn up! But it's taken a while to get there.

I kind of agree with your point about the sub. I find that most (not all) people who are serious about the lifestyle will happily pay the sub, whereas a lot of single males who seem to think this is instashag won't pay it.

I was lucky that I knew lots of guys from club meets, my verifications, the chatroom etc. I usually stuck with guys I knew as I couldn’t be arsed with the hundred questions, but that being said, the questions were a great indicator of who would be timewasters. Anyone asking what will she be wearing, what will we do, who goes first, last blah blah blah… they are wanking
