Bit of a random question here, but does anyone think it's possible meet up with an ex purely just for sex or is that bad territory for catching feelings again etc? I ask as sort of situation I'm in have a ex who's been wanting come stay over for past few months.

I did. When my marriage broke down, I'd moved out and we still slept with each other until we both found other partners. But I suppose it depends on the circumstances surrounding your break up.

See the only reason I've been debating it is the familiar sex thing and we ended on good terms. It's not like first time we've ever had a relationship she was my teenage love and we got back together later in life. Seems most is with the don't go again though wich I completely understand thanks to all for feedback and thoughts

I woukd never have left my ex !! But she wanted a divorce as she said I was too controlling. I am a very easy going guy and thought I was just looking after her.

We were together 45 years but divorced 3 years after I retired.. together too often!!

Well that’s very disappointing. I was know where near as many years as yourself but I adored the ground my ex walked on. But even my step kid has told me that she could see the way I was treated and has said I can’t go back! She is the best I could ever ask for!( my step daughter)

I have a "sorta" ex pursuing me right now. She seems to think that because my late-girlfriend is no longer part of my life, and that she's going through a legal seperation/divorce (She's not very clear), that I'm fair game and it's a 2nd chance for us.

I've told her I'm not interested, but nope, she seems to think it's just the grief talking.
