I would definitely recommend attending social events. You will meet a wide variety of individuals who are also part of the lifestyle.

I know Edinburgh has a Valentine's social on the 10th Feb.

After Dark is a fun place for bi and straight folk to meet. I'm going solo tomorrow (wed) because K is knee deep in work. We had fun together in Dec first time and will go back for more.
