Cumbernauldish

I love to go out for dinner and have some nice food and lovely glass of wine.

I used to go to The Grill on the Corner which is sadly closed. Where do you guys like to dine on a night out?

Grill on the corner is now Bothwell house.

If its something quick and casual, Paesano and pizza punks are great, Sugo for Pasta or bread meets bread. The small plates Indian place Chakoo is lovely also.

La lanterna west end is also a favourite.

For something a bit more special I'd go to the Gannet, ox and finch, unalome or call bruich.

If its a big hunk of meat, porter and rye, tiffneys or Alston, which is under central station are all great.

Big counter on the southside is a recent find that was super casual and not too expensive.

Heading to Glasgow next week. Have booked Red Onion on the Thursday night after seeing it on a tv programme. Anybody been? Looking for somewhere near Jury’s Inn end on Friday evening if anyone has any recommendations. Something unique to Glasgow if possible rather than a chain food restaurant x

Chaakoo Bombay Cafe.

79 St Vincent St, Glasgow G2 5TF.

Chaakoo Bombay Cafe West End aims to take you back in time to the incredible flavours, smells and atmosphere of a classic Iranian-Indian cafe.

With it's authentic Indian Tapas the flavours are absolutely fantastic

For a really classy 5 star night out then try Brian Maule at Chardon d'Or.

The food is amazing. We had the taster menu which was wonderful but left us totally stuffed.
