Hi

me & Mrs are heading up to Glasgow for a few nights (30th, 31st n 1st) to enjoy the festivities. Just wondering best pubs to go daytime & night were we can meet like minded adults (not a club) Also be nice to meet up with any locals as a guide to show us the sites and bit of fun after. We staying at Indigo hotel..in centre I believe. Your help most appreciated

If its the hotel im thinking of you have a few decent places on the same street.

Merchant city is always going to be a suggestion as well as Byres rd/Ashton lane.

Im sure there will be a few more suggestions of specific bars coming your way soon, but will all depend on what kind of place you like.

There's a few decent pubs near the hotel you're staying in and a few further down at hope Street

any really, decent beer n good crowd. Is it packed new years eve? wheres best to go ... do you need tickets for certain places?

We’re headed to Ashton lane but that’s ticketed and ended up having to get food and table tickets to get in. ££. Bit it’ll be good. The town will be mobbed. Hope you find somewhere and your not ten deep at the bar. Unless that’s you thing
