Is there such a thing as a Scottish party scene?! We’d love to meet new folks and attend parties… Just not sure where to find them and whether there’s established groups that host events and private parties!!

Would be keen to hear from people about this!

We’re not phased by travelling at all - Most of our fun happens away from home anyway to be honest… Would be more than happy to travel for what we’re looking for!

There is. I suppose it depends on location & who you know. Not everyone posts in the meets section. We had friends travel down from Inverness to our party recently.

I'm of the same thinking, would love to attend parties in the new year, not seeked them out before as think I'd like a partner in crime or friends to attend with as not keen on travelling alone

Probably best to come to CJs or socials in Aberdeen or Glasgow and get to know people and then maybe you’ll be invited along to parties. It’s usually who you know that helps.

We’ve been along to CJ’s quite a few times now so just looking to see what else is out there!! We’re yet to try the new club in Edinburgh which we’re hoping to get round to in the new year… Just quite keen to see if there are people that host private parties with people of similar age and interests to ourselves!

That's definitely easier said than done if you don't know anyone in the party scene yet.

I hosted my own a while back and they all dropped out and luckily a couple that are known on the scene managed to rescue it for me

We would consider hosting our own in the future… But, would be keen to see how others do it first to get some pointers, build up connections, etc. Never say never!! In the meantime, we’d love to be guests/invited along to parties to find our feet!

I have tried to arrange in Aberdeen for all comers but no interest up here. I once went to one in Perth but bizarrely every one was from Aberdeen or Edinburgh. A bit strange when everyone went hill walking the next day. I was too knackered for that and Part 2.

A lot of others in the past have swapped usernames for kik etc and had group chats several

Couples etc and from

There develop a rapport and then organise a party from there
