Thankfully never been sent a picture like that lol but I have reverse searched images for “new” females/couples that join and within 5 min of joining have their life story up and a load of pictures that are either photoshopped or are sus

Google image search never really works for me. It just comes up with similar pictures.

I tend to go by instinct. If something or someone looks to good to be true....

We hand one guy using pics from an m&s suit adverisment. Give him his due, he stuck to his guns that it was him and they must have just used his pic.

Another send a stock lumberjack pic, when questioned over that, he first said it was him, then changed the story to 'oh I forgot that's the pic I sent to my GF once when role playing and I forgot it was still in my phone album'

We find it quite funny when calling them out.

I put a filter/crop the ones I use, so they're harder to reverse image search.

Yandex is a good site for doing reverse image searches. Caught plenty of fake accounts using it.

I asked for a couple pics and she sent me a pic of her face. Didn't recognise her, and a few friends didn't recognise her. Reverse image search showed it to be a pic from some cleaning company testimonials page somewhere in Georgia US

Either use a specific website or Google image search. Copy and paste the image into the search bar and depending gnon the site, it will tell you how many other sites the image is on and where the original source of the image is.
