Moonshine stall?

I didn't go into it today but that could tempt me.

O'Donnell's Moonshine. The Tough Nut one tastes like Nutella! It was down near the Scott Monument last year but no guarantee it's in the same place.

We are going to do a flying visit next weekend.

It will be new different and can't be any more of a rip off than our Xmas market's.

Any recommendations on some other activities please drop into our pms

Not this year as I'm off to the Christmas Market in Pitlochry in December. Really looking forward to it x

I would say it's not too bad. Bought a nice ring that I'm happy with, made friends with some pretty Norweigan girls, got free mulled wine from a stand as it was closing - downside is that you are kicked out at 10.

Hope you enjoy your time here. It is currently very VERY busy. It may drop a little over the actual Christmas weekend, but I doubt it much.

If you search the forums you should find a few threads for stuff to do in Edinburgh, although a lot of it may be closed with the time of year.

I normally have a wee look if I'm already out and about, but I don't make a specific trip. There's a nice festive vibe, and the cooking food makes the place smell great, but as much as I like supporting small sellers, I feel the stalls have the exact same stuff with no variety every single year. Plus, it bums me out that I can't eat the nice food!

Yes, we have been rather pricey but so is everywhere else and it's only money at the end of the day. We are going back this weekend to spend more cash lol.

There are apparently less stalls this year, so not as much repetition.
