Right, I have put 2 stone on since covid, I grew a little beard to try and hide my baw face, I'm now getting bored of it and have re-joined a gym to get fit.

Should I shave it off ?

If you're bored of it then yes. If you care about your baw face then no, wait til you lose the weight.

I suggest you don't shave until you look like Bobby Sands.

In the west.

Shave it off then you will see the change as it happens and it won't be as sweaty & irritable in the gym.

Shave it off if that’s what you would prefer and are more comfortable with unless of course you are trying to impress a woman who likes guys with beards

"Keep the beard mate, beards are badass "

yeah. i looked at your profile earlier to see if i could make an informed opinion.. no facecpic..

but i agree with the above..

shaving every day is a pain in the hoop. Beards arent itchy once you've had it for a while and if its to notice weight loss - how tight are your trousers and belt..

good luck with the weight loss i put on 3.5 stone in year 1 lock down... lost 2.5 now...

I could have written the OP a couple of weeks ago!! I’d put on weight and also had beard … after a few weeks working out I looked in the mirror and noticed the beard was 80% white! So whipped it off and feel much fresher. However I had almost forgotten how to shave parts of my face lol.

It's your face dude. Do what you think will make you happy.

Personally I'd always choose to trim it down a bit and see if I liked it trimmed rather than whip it off completely. I've done that before and lived with instant regret until it grew back
