The original wand from hitachi was discontinued,try get one from ebay as nothing compares.Hope she likes its a present to treasure

We have the original one and we imported it from America ( via ebay ) and it has a 2 pin plug and we use a 3 pin adapter with no problems

I believe all the original ones will have a 2 pin plug on the end if it has a uk 3 pin plug then it`s a copy

I've got a 'wand essentials'wand from America. Its smaller and quite pretty in purple

Two pin but i got UK plug adaptar. Absolutely brilliant!! I could'nt live without it.

It's NOT a travel adapter, it's a 240v to 110v power converter, if you use a travel adapter or a handy 2 pin orifice, like a shaver socket, there'll be a bang, some smoke and tears!

As far as insertion is concerned, it's going to depend on the size of the opening

, but I think it's more effective for external use!

You won't become redundant, you'll be using it on her!
