Boring we know to break away from fun chat.

But can anyone help please?

Our Gas Central Heating has decided it wants to stay on all the time (not a bad thing in Aberdeenshire!).

The boiler pressure was low so David has adjusted that but it still wont go off.

Do we need to call out a heating engineer or plumber?

Help please xx

Know you have posted in other forum , but being bit silly here , have you tried switching the control from constant to timer and back again ,

Have you tried to bleed the radiators? May help reduce the pressure.

either, but if you do phone a plumber they must be corgi registered. I never fuck with gas. Water yes, electricity to a degree, but gas I wold go near with a barge pole, far too dangerous!

sounds like your thermostat has gone which means the system is continually asking for heat altho it doesnt neeed it. Corgi registered gas and heating engineer required

My timer gave up the ghost a few years back, stuck in the constant position. Moving to it timed made no difference.

A new timer was the only solution.
