There’s already 5 launch stations and Scotland is actually very well served in the space industry it’s just not very well known

They are supposed to be building the spaceport at Prestwick just along the bypass from me but it looks like it's been another fuck up by the gov .. they missed the deadline for applications for funding and the land they were looking at buying appears to be lot more expensive than they bargained on .. the same mistakes that are always made by policians and ill experienced gov advisors.

It really is a Thunderbirds kinda project. Firing satellites attached to a missile on a pallet and a parachute out the back of a c17 over the North Atlantic .. Everybody around here raised their eyebrows for a second but that was about it. Prestwich desperately needs any kind of skilled job investment so hope it's a success but looks on a shakey nail at the moment
