Check trip advisor, Edinburgh is the tourist capital of Europe. I’m sure there is a castle somewhere though

A bit of everything. That narrows it down a bit

Live music….a stroll down niddrie st you’ll hear anything and everything coming out the walls, round the corner stramash is always a good night out for everyone.

Food: with more restaurants per capita than London, you’re spoilt for choice, burgers, pizza, fish n chips and fine dining. A few places to start your journey

Steak - Kyloe

Pizza - dough (or Wonderers kneaded for a walking snack)

Burgers - Brest meats bread

High end - Noto

Vfm - 6 by Nico

Ultra high end - Martin wishart

Sights: Arthur’s seat provides the highest point in the city centre. Pack your boots for this one, Calton hill is pretty, the Scott monument is the best £2.50 you’ll spend here. Don’t go after lunch, it’s a squeeze.

The portrait gallery is my personal fave space. It’s beautiful. Surgeons hall if you like formaldehyde, national musium…

Fuck I should work for Scottish tourism.

Hammersmith

A bus to Aberlady Bay us good. Have a walk along the beach. Some nice cafes in the villages, or the chippy in Aberlady.

Portobello beach is nice too.

Botanical gardens, Zoo, Holyrood park, all good.

Aberdeen

If you're there on the Sat afternoon I can highly recommend the silent disco tour. An hour of totally making a tit of yourself singing and dancing through the streets and not giving a shit who is looking at you
