"Waste of time it will never happen. ????????????????"

Happy for you to wallow in your delusion in face of all the evidence.

Independence is natural, while complicity in allowing your country to be governed by its abusive neighbour is pathetic

When will this shit end and the SNP start to look out for Scotland rather then keep flogging a dead horse. Better yet just piss off and let more competent leadership take over. Idiots.

Totally agree. These SNP fanatics rave about the party yet their record on devolved matters is no better (often worse) than other parts of the UK. Sturgeon should shut up about it and start to govern the country properly.

You often find the people against Independence are Unionists, Rangers fans or the type of person that would bore you to tears, the clueless, gullible, not all cases, Im sure there are some lovely British lovers.

Independence will happen, thanks to the Westminster comedy show.

Its not about Nicola Sturgeon, I hate her but want independence, after we get it we choose who want and get who we vote for.

You do realise Scotland voted to remain last time? With this comes the democratic votes of the union as a whole. I'm assuming you're a brexit remainer? Am I correct?

And next time (new voters, new vote), indy will happen.

ALL the unionist arguments in 2014 have been proven to be lies - electoral fraud on a massive scale, just like the brexit con.

Only a democracy-denier and -abuser would seek to quash a new referendum. Unionists are afraid, because their case is now so weak. With this mob of lunatics now in power in London, the case for independence is being strengthened by the day.

Interesting you say democracy denier. Isn't Scotland voting to remain democracy? With that comes a democratic vote of the majority of UK. BREXIT. The SNP's catalyst for another "once in a lifetime opportunity" is the fact the majority vote in Scotland as to remain. Is this not a slap in the face of democracy in itself??

We have a 1 party state in Scotland. So much patriotism but so little common sense. We seem to let our hearts rule our heads.

Look at the internal sex and bullying scandals within the SNP in the last few years. If that was a tory scandal in Westminster their would be uproar in Scotland. Yet its all brushes under the carpet here in the name or independence.

Have you even took the Time to read the first white paper on independence? If you have I'm sure you would have a different opinion

No dogging then? That's an opportunity missed in my opinion. You could have brought all of Scotland's political factions together in unity in one big gang bang outside the Parliament. Tbf that would probably be the most constructive thing that has happened there in years.

I love how when you push back against an indepence view point you're suddenly "a tory, dull, narrow-minded...." that's playground stuff. Not the sort of politics that will win votes for your cause. Indepence wasn't fought as and shouldn't be compared to a general election. It was a massive vote that would've had implications for decades on our country. Couldn't just jump back in at the first crisis. Similarly can't demand another referendum when the country goes into meltdown. I wasn't born the last time we had the chance to vote so my understanding as a competent adult was this is my chance to decide. Had it went against me I wouldn't have been happy but that would've been the majority choice and I'd have got on with it. Something so many can't seem to do

It was once in a generation and loads of things have changed since we voted.

Brexit and Tories changing goalposts at every turn.

Once the SNP come out with their economic plan for indy I'll consider voting yes but will be a cold day in hell before they do that because they haven't got 1.

The “7 year generation” is only used in Northern Ireland. In Scotland a generation is whatever the British Government define it as. A generation is typically accepted to mean a period of 10-20 years. Certainly not six years after the first NO vote.

I would like to know this; if we vote yes in Indy ref 2 will be get a best of three vote a few years later?
