Anybody recommend any pubs or cafes in Dundee town centre that have quiet nooks and cranies...

Greggs in the Forum Centre in Chapel Street is an option. It has a seating area.

If you are down at the Ferry then Willows in Brook Street is good but has large windows to be seen easily through. Directly across the road is Gracie's which for the more furtive has smaller, darker windows which cannot be seen through.

Both places do a selection of filled rolls.

I dont actually go there to flirt lol. Empire state is a good wee coffee place though. And malmaison is good for drinks.

If you can get it to yourself, St Andrews Brewing Co has a nook bit which is quite nice but also right by the windows (other tables inside are quite well spaced out also).

King Of Islington is great also - very small place and not much seating, but quite dark and cool music played constantly. Delicious cocktails, too!
