A shanner is something that is shite or minging - e.g. "the new Scotland strip's a shanner"

A dillion or dilyun is something cracking or good, the opposite of a shanner - "the new Scotland strip's a pure dillion!"

Hochmagandy or houghmagandie.

Kinda apt for this site.

Having sex for fun, rather than procreation, and typically with someone that may not be your spouse.

Anyone free for a wee social and a bit of hochmagandy?

The first time I heard that word was from James Cosmo in an episode of The Sweeney. It's a great saying.

"Shoogle"

I once had to “translate” this on another online forum where I was sharing a recipe it was a key part of (to me) harder to do than it sounds!

I’m a Scot with an English accent weirdly but still use lots of Scot’s words and phrases I love varied language used to enjoy annoying a certain English boss by using the word “outwith” in certain reports
