Almost turned my heating on last night and tempted to turn it on this morning.

Is it too soon? Anyone else feeling the cold?

Absolutely not. The heating doesn't even heat up my flat anyway. Last couple of nights I did put on a jumper though x

Boiler hadn't been off all summer but that's for the hot water which I usually switch to immersion in the summer but not this year.

It has been down to single digits at night up in n Scotland though.

In the west.

No, not yet but the difference in the temperature is making it more likely. I've been insulating the loft and trying to plug the gaps where the wind blows up through the skirtingboards.

I’m going to try and keep the heating off for as long as possible!

It’s definitely getting a lot colder now though so I’m looking out the extra blankets and hot water bottles.

This was me today but I won’t hesitate switching heating on. I don’t tend to wear much about the house

Definately colder in the mornings but putting on extra layer of clothing instead of heating. Glad I've got a smart meter to keep an eye on how much I'm using each day.

I tested the heating it works! Lucky I have a log burner. It heats the three levels nicely. I've a challenge not to piut it on for as long as I possibly can.
