Anyone have any idea of latest news on reopening of After Eight, or any similar venues in Edinburgh (ha, yep, unlikely I know!)

I'd heard it was opening in Sighthill Industrial estate but unsure of where exactly in the estate, or the dates etc.

Grew up near there so got the fear it's too close to home! Lol

From what I know; the Venue is almost complete and they have been advertising for support and volunteer staff in the bar and dungeon areas.

Their team has worked incredibly hard. The venue plan and pictures are on other platforms and it looks really great.

The venue is in the EH11 area of Edinburgh. But it's location is not divulged. Most likely to stop unwanted attention.

Given the hints I've seen over the last few weeks I think the venue could be pinpointed almost exactly.

I think it's up to the owners to decide if the venue is public or not. I know on their old site the address was there in plain text, but they may make a different call this time.

Look at CJ's, plenty of us know where it is, but the address isn't discussed on the forums and any hints as to the location are very vague.

However until the After 8 owners have made any official announcement, I think it's for the best it people keep quiet about what they've been told or heard.

If you wanna call me a spoilsport or diss me, then feel free, but it's all about a bit of discretion.
