Is a "vaper" still a smoker?

I've recently switched from smoking to vaping and was curious to peoples thoughts, I still have it listed on my profile that I am a smoker and understand why people are put off by it.

Does the same turn offs still apply to those who vape?

I prefer people vape rather than smoke, but as they don't have that option on here people will still need to list themselves as smokers

I would meet those who vape aslong as not around me still as woudnt fancy sitting in a cloud on a meet but have no problem kissing vapers.

Would be good if people stated in their bio if they vape

For ex smokers and smokers, vapers are non smokers x

There's no smoke without fire and there's nothing on fire vaping so there's no smoke, therefore vapers are non smokers. Sorted!

Maybe cos im an ex smoker from 15 years ago, But i bloody hate the smell of some of those vapes, cherry, mango etc , Think I would much prefer cigarette smoke

I quit smoking back in February, had vaped from time to time in the past and this time I switched to disposables which helped a lot. I don't class myself as a smoker as smoking and vaping are different in my opinion

Vaping is still smoking but significantly less offensive to non smokers. Also significantly less dangerous to those who have exchanged fags for vape.

Technically…. It’s not smoking. Smoking involve a cigarette or cigar. Also the NHS see you as being smoke free if you have quit the smelly sticks and gone on to a vape. Insurance companies on the other hand still see you as a smoker. Arseholes. Lol

Its a agree and disagree subject the folk that are 100% anti smoking its smoking doesn't matter what u say to them it's classed as smoking nicotine is additive as caffine its the other chemicals in tobacco that cause problems the with passive smoking which you dont get in a vape cloud its water vapour and very small traces of nicotine

It’s a tricky one, the issue with smokers is the smell. It’s pure bouffin to non smokers. The wee vapes don’t really smell or give off much ‘cloud’.

So, I would have two questions for a vaper, is it a wee pencil vape or one of those big fuck off smoke machines? If it’s the wee pencil things, I’m open to it.

Second question, are you into those vaping competitions? If yes, get in the sea.

I vape but still smoke very occasionally. And it has saved me a fortune. I’m actually embarrassed to be a smoker. Might as well be a fkin leper nowadays and it stinks
