Traditional wee Glasgow bar that's not pretentious in anyway shape or form. I've had a few great nights down stairs. Always worth a quick drink if you're around about the central station

I've been in it a few times, a guy who I used to work with loved the place. He sadly passed away a few years ago now but when he was still able we would have a works day out and we always went in.

Bizarrely I had forgotten all about the Alpen Lodge. Not been for a few years, when I say a few it’s probably now ten (where on earth does time go)…. Had a few good Saturday afternoon/ early evenings in there in fact met a girl in there who it turns out also had similar interests. We did swing for a while but alas ‘‘twas not to last.
