Why do women on here chat for a good while and block you

I'm really pissed off with this site. Last night. I was chatting away with a new female member 34 years old. Nothing untoward was said. it was extremely positive In fact it got to the stage of meeting next week. Then she blocks me. WTF It's a fuckin joke.. What's happening ..Any comments appreciated Thanks fabbers

People sometimes get caught up when chatting online then take cold feet at the reality. Don’t think it’s necessarily anything you said. It happens (wee shrug emoji)

Only asking as just seems bit all of a sudden arrange a meet IMHO maybe it's not though but I tend chat for good week or so before even getting to stage a meet maybe others are different just seemed quick to me is all best off luck to u anyways op mate onto the next victim

So your chatting with a new 34 yr old female profile who decided that your the one she wanted and arranges a meet for next week ?

That in itself should have been the red flag don’t you think !?

Slow down get to know people before rushing into meeting them unless they have been on the site a while and meet verified .

I’d possible say a fake profile male driven thats why they block as soon as a meet was mentioned .

A brand new female profile in the mid 30s that wanted to meet straightaway - an immediate red flag.

I'd be checking any pics attached to the profile via google/tineye, the wording of any messages as you can usually tell when they're written by a man or a woman, and I wouldn't be rushing into any type of meet without chatting for a while first. Very few women would as not only do we not want to waste out time, we have our safety to be concerned about.

Of course it may very well genuinely be a woman behind the profile, but it could be that as a newbie she is being bombarded by messages, or she has got cold feet as there is a big difference between fantasy and reality. You'll never know so I wouldn't spend any more time worrying about it.

On another note, some constructive criticism. Your profile is your shop window and where you need to sell yourself. Yours needs some work by rewriting your blurb, spacing it out a bit. Remove the last line about being sick of blokes/tvs messaging and use your filters to block messages from them. And add some decent pics.

And patience is key.

I very rarely see women posting these types of topics and it reflects the difference between the genders on here. So many guys don’t get many replies (poetry) so when they do get a bite, so to speak, they can invest a bit too much into it…causing these types of feelings when it falls through.

Women, have so many messages, they have to pick and choose, often be ruthless and a chunk of the time they don’t mean anything too bad with it. Some ppl can seem a bit too pushy or too keen for their liking.

Try not to overthink it man, it’s all part of the fab experience. I’m sure the next will turn out more positive

The harsh reality is….The problem doesn’t lay with the Female.

If you’re getting pissed aff by chatting to someone who decided to stop and block you it would be in you’re best interests to handle rejection prior to engaging.

Anyone has the right to stop block you cancel at and given time whether you agree or not.

No means No… it’s that simple.

This is spot on.

As a couple on here that meet single males we get our fair share of messages and Mr has stopped even trying to figure out what it is that makes me decide if I will meet someone or not and to be honest I cant even explain why alot of the time. Sometimes it's just a feeling and the person I'm talking to has done absolutely nothing wrong. You really cant take offence or overthink just chat to people and when it's right a meet will come together and when it's not just move on. Xx

Moral of the story is ever believe everything you read on the internet there are always different versions of the “truth”. Well can't speak for this occasion but sadly I can echo this for both couples and females chat sometimes over a long period then out the blue blocked, that life I guess. The really annoying ones are those who want to meet give a time and place to meet then block you once you get there!
