Dover

I'm coming up to Scotland for 5 days beginning of September for a few swinging days away....

Wondering which city has a better scene? Will be staying in hotel. At mo I'm leaning toward Glasgow but all opinions welcome. Looking to meet bi couples, single women and guys

If you’re looking for a club night, it’s Glasgow as none in Edinburgh. If not then I’d say Edinburgh it’s a greener city, by greener I mean there’s parks everywhere, Arthur’s Seat, Princes Street Gdns, easy to get around, & I’m biased as I live here

If its for swinging or partying, Glasgow

If its for culture, Edinburgh

It pains me to say it but Edinburgh is greener even though Glasgow is the "dear green place" Edinburgh is the 2nd greenest city in the UK after Sheffield.

the land of unicorns and fairytales

Depends what days you’re coming through if it’s during the week or the weekend , personally I’d do Glasgow 3 +2 Edinburgh as they both have something different o offer in terms of places to see hotels and bars and at the moment as far as clubs go Glasgow is your only option, but you be advised to book it now

Edinburgh

Don't forget they're commutable too - 40-ish minutes on the train. Yea it means you can't enjoy the late-nightlife, but if you wanted a day-trip to the one you're not in it would be possible.

Not for long the way they keep building on green space and not brown space!

Somewhere over there

There’s an Edinburgh daytime social occurring 10th sept but I know single guy spaces are filling up fast!

Check the forum for the info.

We are from Edinburgh definitely worth a visit and not too far from Glasgow. Personally we prefer Glasgow for a night out, hate to say it but we find the people much more friendly x
