Recently I've been listening to a lot of Corries songs which I really like. I was wondering if anyone goes through phases where you haven't heard Scottish music for a while and suddenly you listen to it all the time??

That'd be the late Gordon Duncan.

A fine piper, his work wasn't to everyone's taste.

I'm a fan of Fred Morrison. Check out The Train Journey North or The Hard Drive.

Kitchen piping at its very best.

My cd collection is quite sad, mainly guys I have plated with (in a band not for fun). I have a Corries cd in the car at the moment and there is still some of there stuff gets the hairs on the back of my neck standing. There was a great group in Edinburgh a few years ago, North Sea Gas, are they still on the go?

I like to think I have an eclectic taste in music and also partial to the odd fiddle now and again but I can't say I'm keen on traditional music
