Don't worry this isn't going to be another Old Firm tit for tat thread....I hope.

However, Celtic twitter exploded last night with revelations of various catfish accounts running over a year with guys pretending to be girls. Well known accounts with lots of followers.

Fab could teach them a thing or two given all the fake wanking accounts set up on here.

Do you mean these were accounts that had been chatting specifically within the Celtic Twitter sphere or Twitter in general?

They were masquerading as Celtic fans and talking with mostly other Celtic fans but would chat with a few people.

One of the catfish accounts was someone pretending to be a lesbian, posting screenshots of these fake conversations on WhatsApp they'd been having with their partner and probably the worst of the lot...giving people a play by play of their struggle with IVF treatment.

Genuinely one of the most horrible things someone could do is make something like that up, knowing full well there are people on there going through similar things in life.

I sincerely hope the person responsible gets outted on there. It was a wild night on Twitter though that's for sure!

Yeah I'd normally just have laughed it off and chuckled at the guys sliding into DMs etc. But that whole IVF scenario is fecked up. Really horrendous.

Nothing fake about the wanking accounts on here. Daily thrashing a way of life for many.
