It could be a good idea to head west to the Lomond and Trossachs Park area. There are LOADS of brilliant places to camp there.

Keep in mind though, because of so many people taking the piss and not respecting the environment, there is a wee charge for a permit in that area which can be bought online. It's only a couple of quid.

Lots of places my favourite ones are either side of the Tay @Birnam/Dunkeld plenty of spots. Some more hidden than others. Also few nice spots just outside Dundee up by Duntrune

Just tried there. All no overnight parking now. The big one has been bought and gets locked at night. Presently getting pumped in a nearby site - financially. Bloody extortionate.

I've been and camped on the dunes at tentsmuir a few times, really nice and quiet and can park over in Tayport and 10-15 min walk over

We just came back from wild camping up the hills around Loch lommond was absolutely amazing!! We would happily bring you guys with us on our next trek xxx
