Glasgow

My recollection of hospital food is that it isn't about the food, provided it meets the appropriate standards, it's that it marks the passing day.

Breakfast at a certain time, tea/ coffee a bit later. Lunch at 12.00 or 13.00 depending on the hospital. Tea/ coffee + biscuits a bit later then a nap before visiting and so on through the day.

No so great food gives patients common cause. Something to moan about.

The best hospital food I've had comes from the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank.

the worst hospital dinner, i had one night was in the western infirmary, glasgow, lamb hotpot, it smelled like you imagine the in-sole of a marathon runners trainer would after a marathon run in word diabolical, im no a fussy eater, but that was just appalling- and i told the nurse so. half-decent food, is what you expect on the road to recovery

Most Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board food comes from a shed in Inverclyde. You can thank Nicola Sturgeon for that.

Good food doesn't travel that well. Hopsital food has mountains to climb.

Not quite true, it comes from 2 sites, IRH and RAH, None of which can be described as sheds, but I do agree that the food is muck

The food at some of Scotlands Hospitals actually comes from a factory in Wales as sodexo supplies a lot of the hospitals.
